《Guidelines Before Getting a Tattoo》

1. Ensure sufficient sleep. Maintaining a good mental state before getting a tattoo helps ensure a smooth tattooing process.

2. Wear loose, easily changeable clothing. Tight clothing can rub against the tattoo, possibly leading to inflammation or more serious situations; the tattooing process may also dirty your clothes.

3. Avoid getting a tattoo on an empty stomach. Tattoo sessions are generally long, and being hungry can easily lead to low blood sugar, increasing pain sensations.

4. It is not advisable to get a tattoo while drunk. Alcohol can speed up blood circulation, leading to excessive bleeding during the tattooing process, which can seriously affect the quality of the artwork and recovery time.

5. Choose an experienced tattoo artist and maintain good communication with them. Getting a tattoo is a significant decision, and good communication can create a piece that satisfies both parties.

*If any unexpected situations occur during the tattooing process, please inform the tattoo artist immediately to take the best course of action.

《Guidelines After Getting a Tattoo》

1. Do not keep the plastic wrap on for too long; remove it after 2-3 hours. Its purpose is to promote the drainage of tissue fluid, prevent it from drying out too quickly, and isolate bacteria.

2. Keep the tattooed area clean and dry during the recovery period. Normal showering is allowed, but it is not recommended to use a towel to dry the wound; let it air dry naturally or gently pat it dry.

3. Avoid bathing, saunas, swimming, and vigorous exercise. These activities can easily lead to infection at the tattoo site, which can severely damage the skin.

4. Do not scratch, rub, or excessively irritate the area until fully healed. Scabbing may cause feelings of pain and itchiness; remember not to scratch or pick at it, and allow it to fall off naturally. Otherwise, it may affect recovery, leading to light discoloration or severe infection. (If it feels itchy, gently pat the area to soothe it.)

5. Avoid excessive alcohol consumption and spicy, irritating foods or seafood. This is similar to normal wound care, as it helps prevent increased pain and itching sensations and prevents allergic or inflammatory symptoms.

6. Be mindful of sun protection for the tattooed area. Sun exposure may cause the tattoo to change color, darken, or fade.

7. Aftercare is also an essential process. During recovery, applying a healing ointment or tattoo care products can effectively shorten healing time and protect the tattoo's color saturation. (Each tattoo artist has different experiences, so it's best to consult your tattoo artist for details.)

*If any swelling, pain, or inflammation appears at the wound site during recovery, please contact your tattoo artist as soon as possible for the best advice.

*The above matters are personal opinions from our tattoo artists and are for reference only!

*If any unexpected situations occur during the tattooing process, please inform the tattoo artist immediately to take the best course of action.
